These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, www.dankedesignstudio.co.uk, and the purchase of products from our online store.
Throughout these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Danke Design Studio. "You" and "your" refer to customers and visitors using our website.
Danke Design Studio offers a curated collection of art prints, posters, framed artwork and personalised designs, with products individually produced to order.
Our online store is powered by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that enables us to sell our products.
By accessing our website or purchasing from our store, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Please read them carefully before placing an order.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.
1. Use of Our Website
By using our website, you agree to provide accurate and complete information when placing an order or creating an account.
You must not use our website for unlawful purposes or engage in activities that interfere with its security, operation or functionality.
We reserve the right to restrict access to our website where reasonably necessary to protect our business, customers or services.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and notifying us if you suspect unauthorised access.
2. Our Products
Danke Design Studio specialises in high-quality art prints, posters, framed artwork and personalised designs.
Our products are individually produced following an order and may be manufactured and shipped by trusted third-party production partners.
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours and dimensions are accurate.
However, please note:
- Colours may vary slightly between digital screens and physical prints due to differences in screen calibration and printing processes.
- Minor variations in colour, texture and finish may occur during production.
- Product images displayed in room settings are for illustrative purposes and may not represent exact dimensions.
- Customers should carefully review product sizes and specifications before purchasing.
- Frames, mounts and borders are included only where expressly stated in the product description or selected product options.
These variations do not affect your statutory rights where products are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet applicable legal requirements.
We reserve the right to update product descriptions, specifications and availability at any time.
3. Orders and Order Acceptance
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.
After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation email.
A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of your order. Unless we expressly state otherwise, our order confirmation email constitutes acceptance.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including:
- Product unavailability.
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery information.
- Suspected fraudulent transactions.
- Obvious pricing or product listing errors.
- Circumstances preventing us from fulfilling the order.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will issue a full refund for the cancelled products, including any associated delivery charges paid for those products.

4. Made-to-Order Production
All artwork sold by Danke Design Studio is produced individually following an order.
This allows us to offer a wide selection of designs, sizes and framing options while minimising unnecessary stock and waste.
Production may begin shortly after an order has been accepted.
Once production has started, we may be unable to modify or stop an order.
However, this does not affect any statutory cancellation or return rights that apply to your purchase.
Standard Artwork
Standard, non-personalised art prints and posters are eligible for cancellation and returns in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
For eligible UK consumer purchases, customers generally have 14 days from receiving their order to exercise their statutory right to cancel without providing a reason.
Personalised and Custom Artwork
Personalised or custom-made artwork produced to a customer's individual specifications is generally excluded from statutory change-of-mind cancellation rights, where permitted by applicable law.
This includes qualifying artwork incorporating customer-supplied names, dates, photographs or other individually specified design elements.
Selecting a standard size, colour or framing option does not automatically make an otherwise standard product personalised for legal purposes.
Personalised orders cannot normally be cancelled or returned for a change of mind once the order has been accepted, where the applicable legal exception applies.
This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

5. Prices and Payment
All prices displayed on our website are shown in the currency indicated at checkout.
Prices include applicable taxes where required by law, unless otherwise clearly stated.
Delivery charges and any additional applicable costs will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
We reserve the right to change product prices at any time. However, price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.
Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Payments are securely processed through Shopify and its supported payment providers.
We do not store full payment card details on our own systems.
Pricing Errors
Occasionally, products may be listed with an incorrect price due to technical or administrative errors.
Where an obvious pricing error occurs before an order has been accepted, we reserve the right to decline the order and notify the customer.
If an order has already been accepted, any cancellation or price correction will be handled in accordance with applicable contract and consumer protection laws.
We will not charge customers additional amounts without their agreement.
6. Shipping and Delivery
All orders are produced and dispatched using trusted printing and fulfilment partners.
Production and delivery times vary depending on the product, destination and selected shipping method.
Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance and are not guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly stated otherwise.
We make every reasonable effort to ensure orders arrive within the estimated timeframe.
However, delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Courier or postal delays.
- Customs processing.
- Severe weather conditions.
- Public holidays.
- Production disruptions.
- Other unforeseen events.
Where applicable law requires delivery within an agreed timeframe, or within a statutory period where no timeframe has been agreed, those requirements will apply.
Lost or Delayed Orders
If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery timeframe, please contact us.
We will investigate the issue with our fulfilment and delivery partners and arrange an appropriate resolution in accordance with your statutory rights.
Where we arrange delivery, responsibility for the goods generally remains with Danke Design Studio until they are delivered to you or a person nominated by you, subject to applicable law.
Incorrect Delivery Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information at checkout.
If incorrect or incomplete information results in a failed delivery, additional shipping charges may apply where reasonable and legally permitted.
Please contact us immediately if you notice an error in your delivery details.
Once production or dispatch has begun, address changes may not be possible.
7. International Orders
Danke Design Studio offers international shipping to selected destinations.
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country.
Where these charges are not included in the checkout price, they may be payable by the customer upon import.
Any applicable charges and responsibilities will be communicated as required by law before purchase.
International delivery times may vary due to customs processing and local delivery services.
Customers remain entitled to any mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in their country of residence.
8. Returns, Refunds and Exchanges
We want every customer to be happy with their purchase.

Standard Artwork
For eligible UK consumer purchases of standard, non-personalised artwork, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order.
After notifying us of your cancellation, you have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Customers are responsible for the direct cost of returning change-of-mind purchases, provided this responsibility was disclosed before purchase.
Refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
Personalised Artwork
Personalised and custom-made artwork that qualifies for the relevant legal exception cannot normally be returned or refunded due to a change of mind.
Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
If an order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us with your order number and details of the issue.
Photographs may help us investigate and resolve the problem more quickly.
We will arrange an appropriate repair, replacement, refund or other remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection legislation.
9. Intellectual Property and Copyright
All original artwork, illustrations, designs, graphics, photographs, text, branding and other creative content displayed on the Danke Design Studio website are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Unless otherwise stated, intellectual property rights belong to Danke Design Studio or the relevant copyright owners and licensors.
Purchasing a physical print does not transfer copyright or ownership of the underlying artwork.
Without appropriate written permission, you must not:
- Reproduce or commercially distribute our artwork.
- Sell unauthorised copies of our designs.
- Use our artwork for commercial products or merchandise.
- Digitally reproduce or redistribute our designs.
- Use our branding, logos or other protected materials without authorisation.
Artwork purchased from Danke Design Studio is intended for personal use unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Customer-Supplied Content
Where customers provide photographs, names, illustrations or other materials for personalised artwork, they confirm that they have the necessary rights and permissions for those materials to be used in producing their order.
Customers retain ownership of their original materials.
By submitting content for personalisation, customers grant Danke Design Studio and its production partners permission to use that content solely as reasonably necessary to create, manufacture and fulfil the requested order, unless additional permission is separately obtained.
We reserve the right to decline orders containing material that infringes intellectual property rights or applicable laws.
10. Personalised Artwork Approval
Customers are responsible for ensuring that any names, dates, wording or other personalisation details submitted with their order are accurate.
Where a digital proof is provided for approval, customers should review it carefully before confirming.
Once a personalised design has been approved and production has commenced, changes may no longer be possible.
If an error results from incorrect information supplied or approved by the customer, we may be unable to provide a complimentary replacement.
However, if an error is caused by Danke Design Studio or our production partners, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
11. Third-Party Services
Our website uses third-party services to support payment processing, website functionality, order production and delivery.
These may include Shopify, payment providers, printing partners and shipping companies.
We take reasonable care when selecting service providers.
However, we are not responsible for the independent content, products or services offered through external websites that are not part of our contractual obligations to customers.
Nothing in this section excludes our responsibility for fulfilling customer orders or complying with applicable consumer protection laws.
12. Customer Reviews and Feedback
We welcome customer feedback, reviews and suggestions.
By submitting a review or testimonial, you confirm that it reflects your genuine experience and does not infringe the rights of another person.
You grant Danke Design Studio a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and reproduce your submitted review in connection with operating and promoting our business, subject to applicable law.
We may moderate or remove content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive or infringes third-party rights.
We will not knowingly publish misleading or fabricated customer reviews.
